Tiptel goes on the GSM market

Telecommunication manufacturer Tiptel releases a new range of products aimed at the senior citizen market, including the 6010 GSM and 6011 GSM.

The new Tiptel Mobile Phones “GSM 6010/6011 Ergophone” comes on the market in mid-September, the second time the German-based company has entered the GSM market.

The new brand “Ergophone” is aimed at people with special requirements on their phone: emergency call function, extra loud adjustment, large buttons and screen writing as well as appropriate weight and size. After the successful “ergoVoice Ergophone” models in the technologies analog, ISDN and VoIP, the company now releases Ergophone – “An unbelievable easy mobile phone”.

The “Ergophone 6010/6011″ is the best priced product of the new series, while more exclusive multi functional devices have been planned for the future. The phone is a simple design, with two different colours – (Ergophone GSM 6010) and White (6011 Ergophone GSM), available. Distribution is on the phone stores as well as the usual large electronics goods manufacturer. Cost base for retail: 79,90 € – contract-free.

Jürgen Taplick, managing director of Tiptel.com GmbH, is optimistic that the entry into the GSM business in the second attempt will not fail, and believes their many years of experience from making ergonimic phones will put them in good stead.
